Sustainability is not something we can do alone. Collaboration is the key to improving processes and industries. The hard part is finding the right partners. Fortunately, we've been extremely lucky in this department. So I would like to dedicate this page to the Companies, Committees and Institutes that have helped us with our sustainability efforts. Without them, who knows where we’d be?

I won’t soon forget the energy in the room at the local chapter’s kick-off event. What a positive, enthusiastic group of individuals. With the national release of LEED V3 in 2009, I’ve become a huge fan of this young organization and I look forward to helping them grow by continuing to volunteer with the Hawaii Chapter. |

Their mission and goals are focused on collaboration and responsible land use. The local chapter is extremely active and provides quality education opportunities to help influence those making decisions for Hawaii’s built environment. |

A group that supports sustainable design through educational programs, tours and competitions. Their members are passionate, knowledgeable and love to share ideas – we truly enjoy working with them. |

An independent non-profit trying to do what their name says – create stewards for the world’s forests through education and management. We think they’re on the right track, and it’s becoming an industry best practice to support their cause. We’ve been doing it since 2008. |

We’ve been partnered with IRI since 2001 and they’ve done a great job supporting us as we learn and grow our recycling efforts. |

When we needed help with the new volume of white material we were collecting from our post-production waste, HRS was able to provide a great solution. They made it easy for us to recycle a number of our different materials, which also made it easier for us to extend help to you. |

Have you ever heard of radiant fusing? It’s a technology that Océ applies to their printers. It works like a toaster. The “radiant fusers” heat and cool the machines so quickly that they don’t even need to warm up or cool down, saving a ton of energy.
Océ has also had an active reuse policy since the 1970’s. They’re a forward thinking partner in sustainability and we admire their innovative spirit. |

Xerox's iGen is far and away the coolest digital press I’ve ever seen. More than 80% of the waste can be returned, reused or recycled. Not to mention that nearly 97% of the machine's components are recyclable or remanufacturable! These guys are on the leading edge, which is one of the reasons we chose them as partners. |

For years we’ve been looking for an alternative to solvent inks because they’re dangerous and extremely hazardous to the environment. In 2009, HP came through - their new L65500 uses latex inks that are odorless, have zero HAP and low levels of VOC. |
